Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Location: Addison, IL
Hire Type: Direct Hire

- 1st Shift: 8-hour shift
- Perform maintenance and repairs on industrial manufacturing equipment, with a focus on injection molding (preferred).
- Troubleshoot and service electrical, PLC, and automation systems.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems (target proficiency 7/10).
- Support plant equipment including compressors, chillers, and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair secondary operation equipment (conveyors, labelers, liners, inspection systems, packaging).
- Replace or repair defective components: bearings, motors, servo motors, gears, electronic drives, clutches, brakes, belts, chains, and electrical parts.
- Work from manuals, specifications, schematics, blueprints, ladder diagrams, and SOPs.
- Accurately document work through CMMS/work orders (CMMS experience preferred).
- Communicate effectively with other shifts and departments to ensure smooth operations.
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (preferred).
- Strong mechanical aptitude; experience with injection molding equipment a plus.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Must be able to read and write English at a functional level.
