Compensation: $30-$45 per hour (Dependent on Experience)

Company Overview:
We are currently seeking a talented Machine Designer to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role offers the opportunity for contract-to-hire, with a competitive hourly rate based on your experience.

Position Overview:
As a Machine Designer, you will play a pivotal role in the creation and development of innovative machinery that will be used in the automotive industry. You will work closely with a team of engineers and designers to contribute to the design, development, and improvement of automation systems and machine tooling.

Key Qualifications:
Good mechanical engineering skills.
A degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred but not required.
Proficiency in Solidworks.
Prior experience in automation and machine tooling is highly desirable.
Knowledge of welding machinery and its applications, particularly in the automotive industry, is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with our engineering team to design and develop machinery for automation and welding applications.
Create detailed mechanical designs using Solidworks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the design process.
Participate in design reviews and provide input to improve the functionality and manufacturability of the machines.
Assist in the selection of materials and components for the machinery.
Work on various projects with the possibility of both short-term and long-term contracts, offering flexibility to the candidate.
