Job Description

Title: Instructional Designer 
Location: Remote 
Hire Type: Part-time contract (open ended) 
Rate: $40/hr-$50/hr

Job Duties:
  • Consult with subject matter experts and content owners to identify learning objectives and to recommend learning approaches/solutions to streamline, combine and enhance existing webbased curriculum 
  • Build effective relationships and partner with subject matter experts and division leaders to gather content information, determine and implement highly effective learning solutions with planned reviews 
  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content specific to Adult Learning 
  • Convert web based Lectora courses to Articulate 360

Qualifications:
  • Tech-savvy with 7 plus years of experience in designing and delivering web-based training 
  • Strong knowledge of Instructional Systems Design (ISD) models; well versed in Adult Learning principles and teaching methods such as: ADDIE, SAM, Agile  
  • Strong writing and editing skills; excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills 
  • Analytical and creative/resourceful problem-solving skills
