Team Lead Machine Builder
Job Description
The Team Lead will contribute to the successful design, engineering, build out, runoff, and commissioning of projects by contributing to the success of the Project Team and managing the overall build out process with Systems Technicians and Production Manager.
- Lead the Build Team

- Evaluate Build Team members and ensure the presence of the best Build Team possible.

- Actively contribute to the success of Project Teams throughout the life of a project.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with Project Team and Project Team Leads.
- Manage Game Plan and build process utilizing Smartsheet.
- Keep current with CPAR’s in entering and responding too.
- Manage Open Item Lists for each project, ensuring action items are resolved.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to your team members.
- Performance Metrics
- Strive for 100% on-time completion rate on build milestones
- Increase overall efficiency rating of Build Team, targeting the goal of 76%
- 5+ Years experience in automation, production, or related field
- Ability to teach, train, and develop future production leaders
- Ability to improve processes and procedures, and implement new ideas to increase efficiencies
and/or reduce safety risks - Ability to read & understand electrical schematics (JIC style) and mechanical assembly prints
- Technical competence to understand and execute mechanical/electrical technical details
- Ability to travel to assist with installation and commissioning of systems
