Job Description
Title: Quality Validation Engineer
Pay Range: $90-$105k per year based on experience
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate projects to ensure products meet quality standards
- Investigate customer complaints
- Manage supplier performance with Supply Chain team
- Assist Quality Manager in coordinating company-wide quality objectives
- Analyze statistical data to identify areas for improvement
- Develop product specifications and evaluate compliance
- Plan and perform training activities for internal departments
- Maintain compliance with FDA and ISO quality systems
- Complete continuous improvement projects using Six Sigma methodologies
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or related field
- 3+ years' experience in a Quality position
- Experience in the Medical Device industry preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Intermediate statistical (SPC) knowledge required
- Six Sigma experience or certification preferred
- SAP experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand, sit, and walk up to 80% of a shift
- Up to 25% travel required (some international)
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels and required PPE and cleanroom apparel.
