Project Manager
Job Description
- Coordinate project between customer, engineering, fabrication, shipping, document control, quality control, purchasing, and accounting
- Develop, review, maintain, adhere to project schedule as necessary
- Perform engineering calculations to specify and size equipment
- Obtain quotations and procure components as needed for a project
- Control costs and track all commercial issues
- Guide designer throughout design process
- Provide technical assistance to fabrication personnel
- Read, interpret, and summarize customer specifications
- Submit formal documents as required by customer specifications
- Oversee customer factory acceptance testing – resolve any issues and provide final deliverables.
- Direct completion of project turnover packages.
- Lead internal team meetings or customer meetings
- Work either independently or as a leader in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and tasks in unison
Qualifications:
- BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- Experience leading teams and driving tasks to meet schedules
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Some knowledge of electrical and control schematics
- Some experience with AutoCad
- Experience in process engineering with pharmaceutical, food, or beverage industry is a plus, but willing to train!
- MS Project and Excel experience
