Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Pay Range: $75-$100k per year based on experience.
Summary/Objective: The Mechanical Engineer will assist in the design and manufacture of machines, manage multiple projects, and develop standardized design criteria. This position requires strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field. The ideal candidate has 3-10 years of experience in automated machinery and knowledge of Good Automated Manufacturing Practices (GAMP).
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Apply product design and assembly knowledge to the manufacturing process
Develop standardized design criteria across product lines
Create detailed drawings and machine documentation
Manage multiple projects
Participate in cross-departmental meetings
Competencies:
Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Proficient in SolidWorks, CAD, and 3D software
Mechanical and technical expertise
Positive and motivated self-starter
Physical Demands: Ability to walk, bend, squat, carry, stoop, kneel, crouch, or stand for periods of time.
Work Environment: Traditional office setting and manufacturing environment.
Position Type: Full-time, 40-45 hours per week,
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
3-10 years of experience in automated machinery and knowledge of GAMP
Preferred Education and Experience:
Proficiency in CAD and SolidWorks 3D
Knowledge of packaging equipment functionality and design.
