Job Summary:
  • We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and installing pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, as well as AC/DC electrical systems. The role requires a deep understanding of high-voltage wiring and multi-craft maintenance and repair.

Job Duties:
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, and AC/DC electrical systems
  • Read schematics and use electrical testing equipment (Volt-Ohm meter, amp meter, oscilloscope)
  • Perform interrelated repairs on electrical systems and mechanical systems
  • Assist entry-level mechanics with difficult repairs
  • Work under pressure to fix equipment and ensure maximum efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability
  • Troubleshoot issues on a wide variety of equipment and conduct repair failures of production and facilities equipment
  • Respond to maintenance calls and inspect machines to develop repair lists and identify short-term and long-term repairs so that machines run correctly
  • Work from task lists when diagnosing machines and taking corrective actions
  • Contribute a unique skillset through the use of preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking
  • Operate lathes, mills, arc and Heliarc® welders for repair and fabrication

Qualifications:
  • Electrical certification, maintenance manufacturing experience, technical school training, or welding experience preferred
  • At least 2 years of training experience in mechanical/electrical repair in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation
