Maintenance Technician (Injection Mold)
Job Description
- Comprehends, adheres to, and reinforces all established safety, health, quality GMP, and Company policies, procedures, and recognized practices.
- Supports Process Technician in mold change setup and startups, including water and electrical systems.
- Supervises day-to-day maintenance tasks within the assigned work cell.
- Addresses issues with ancillary equipment such as chillers, air compressors, blending systems, water towers, HVAC, vacuum pumps, and electrical systems.
- Capable of diagnosing and resolving basic molding equipment and process problems.
- Aids in automation setup, startup, and label changes.
- Assists with the assembly and disassembly of tooling as necessary.
- Conducts preventative maintenance tasks and maintains records.
- Supports Process Manager in assessing new mold and automation startups.
- Performs daily checks on molding and automation equipment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years Injection Molding maintenance experience in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Minimum of 3 years of injection molding process experience. Experience with in-mold-labeling a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 90% manufacturing floor, 10% office.
- Occasionally lift to 50lbs. Working hands on with tooling and machinery. Computer usage (keyboard and mouse).
