Job Summary:
  • Seeking a full-time experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and installing pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, and pumps. Maintenance Mechanics will also handle AC/DC electrical systems, read schematics, and use electrical testing equipment. Proficiency in Programmable Logic Controls and a unique skill set in preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking are essential. This role requires the ability to work on various equipment, operate machinery, and contribute to both electrical and mechanical repairs.

Job Duties:
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, and pumps.
  • Work on AC/DC electrical systems, read schematics, and use electrical testing equipment.
  • Utilize extensive knowledge to assist entry-level mechanics with challenging repairs.
  • Work under pressure to fix equipment urgently, ensuring maximum efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot issues on a variety of equipment, conducting repair failures.
  • Inspect machines, develop repair lists, and identify short-term and long-term repairs.
  • Respond to maintenance calls, sometimes completing ongoing repairs.
  • Work from task lists when diagnosing machines and taking corrective actions.

Qualifications:
  • At least 18 years of age or older.
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capable of climbing, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and stretching.
  • Willing and able to work in an environment with extreme temperatures, humidity, loud equipment, and slippery surfaces.
  • Electrical certification, maintenance manufacturing experience, technical school training, or welding experience preferred.
  • Preferably, at least two years of training experience in mechanical/electrical repair in a manufacturing environment.
  • Successful completion of a hands-on electrical skills test before an in-person interview.
