Job Summary:
  • This role will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless operations and minimizing downtime. In this dynamic role, you'll lead a team of skilled professionals, optimizing maintenance programs and driving continuous improvement. Job Duties:
  • Recruit, train, evaluate, and manage a talented maintenance team, including supervisors, mechanics, millwrights, technicians, and machine builders.
  • Develop and oversee comprehensive preventative maintenance, repair schedules, and maintenance inventory management, ensuring efficient equipment operation.
  • Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance programs and processes.
  • Manage equipment and parts purchasing, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with the purchasing department for optimal resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with sanitation, production, and quality control teams to address scheduling issues and immediate needs, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with the engineering department, contributing to new equipment design, planning, and installation processes.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance supervision within the food industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical education in electronics and PLC preferred, with a Bachelor's degree being an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System)/planning, AutoCAD software, and MS Excel.
  • Excellent decision-making, planning, and leadership skills.
  • General knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, machine building, PLCs, and community codes.
