Overview:
As an Electrical Controls Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in designing and developing cutting-edge machine controls for heat seal packaging machinery.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop machine controls for heat seal packaging machinery with precision and efficiency.
  • Create electrical schematics using AutoCAD Software or equivalent, showcasing your technical prowess.
  • Develop electrical enclosure panel layouts utilizing AutoCAD or similar computer software.
  • Generate machine controls Bill of Materials using the company's ERP system.
  • Test and debug electrical control circuits, ensuring flawless functionality.
  • Integrate various inkjet, laser, or robotic systems, demonstrating your versatility.
  • Program machine control components, including PLCs, HMIs, and others, leveraging your programming skills.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, showcasing your organizational abilities.
  • Assist in machine manual development and quoting processes.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineering and assembly departments, fostering teamwork and communication.
  • Perform final machinery check-offs to verify all systems' functionality, ensuring quality standards.
  • Provide technical assistance to customer support, assembly, and sales teams as required.
  • Communicate project progress, goals, and customer expectations to the department manager.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC and HMI programming is a must.
  • Experience in designing, testing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment with electro-mechanical components.
  • Proficient in using AutoCAD software or equivalent for electrical designing.
  • Familiarity with electronic test instrumentation
  • Ability to adapt to new machine controls software and update as needed.
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience (co-ops and internships are acceptable).
