Job Title: HR Consultant Manager
Pay Range $55-$65 per hour based on experience.
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable HR Consultant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and training our HR team. From recruitment to performance reviews, wage reviews, disciplinary action, and learning and development, you will take the lead in all HR matters across the company. The ideal candidate should have previous experience as an HR manager or in other senior roles within the HR field, as well as a strong understanding of legal requirements associated with HR functions.
Responsibilities:
- Consistently recruit excellent staff members who align with the organization's goals and culture.
- Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires, facilitating their integration into the company.
- Train, counsel, and coach employees to enhance their skills and performance.
- Mediate conflicts in a positive and professional manner, fostering resolution and maintaining harmony within the workplace.
- Carry out necessary administrative duties related to HR functions.
- Conduct performance and wage reviews to assess employee productivity and compensation adequacy.
- Develop clear policies and ensure their awareness and adherence among the workforce.
- Create concise and informative reports on HR metrics and trends.
- Deliver engaging presentations on HR-related topics to employees and management.
- Maintain and report on workplace health and safety compliance to ensure a safe working environment.
- Handle workplace investigations, disciplinary procedures, and termination processes when required.
- Safeguard employee and workplace privacy, adhering to relevant privacy laws and regulations.
- Lead and manage a team of junior HR managers, providing guidance and support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
- Proven experience in human resources or related field, with a focus on HR management.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues at all levels.
- Experience in educating and coaching staff members to improve their performance and professional growth.
- Proficiency in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
- Familiarity with workplace privacy regulations and the ability to ensure compliance.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to deliver engaging and informative presentations to diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
