Pay: $35-40/hr
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a team of up to 8+ employees, including electricians, machine builders, and machinists, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with the plant manager and supervisory team to streamline job production and address manufacturing challenges.
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting, guidance, and mentorship to the team, ensuring seamless execution of new projects and resolving issues promptly.
- Oversee resource scheduling and allocation, optimizing workflow and maximizing productivity.
- Participate in the evaluation and hiring process, ensuring the recruitment of top talent.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous learning.
- Implement and maintain effective communication channels with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in supervising teams within an assembly, manufacturing, or automation environment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
- Proficiency in resource planning, scheduling, and project management.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Relevant educational background or technical certifications in a related field (e.g., engineering, manufacturing, or automation).
